What to Expect at Your Pop-Up Appointment

Complimentary One-on-One Consultation

Each appointment is a private, one-on-one session with Mel, giving you dedicated time, care, and personalised guidance in a discreet setting.

We understand that hair thinning and hair loss can be deeply personal. Our pop-ups are created as a calm, respectful, and judgement-free space where you can openly share your concerns and feel supported.

Explore Without Pressure
You’ll have the opportunity to try on a range of hair toppers and solutions, see how they feel, and learn what suits your hair and lifestyle best. There is no obligation to purchase — this experience is about education, confidence, and choice.

Pop-Up Shop Pricing Policy

For hair toppers purchased at a Mel Hair Co pop-up event, an additional $100 per piece is applied. This contributes toward the costs of hosting pop-up events, including travel, accommodation, venue hire, wages, and setup.

This allows us to:

  • Offer complimentary consultations

  • Remove the need for booking deposits

  • Give clients the freedom to attend and try on hair solutions without commitment

While this fee does not fully cover our pop-up expenses, we’re happy to meet you halfway so we can continue bringing these personalised experiences to different locations.

Returns & Exchanges

Hair Toppers & Hair Pieces

Due to the personalised fitting process and hygiene considerations, all hair toppers purchased at Mel Hair Co pop-up events are final sale.

Once a hair topper has been:

  • fitted or worn

  • cut, coloured, styled, or altered

  • taken home

it is not eligible for a refund or exchange.

We take great care during your consultation to ensure the best possible fit, colour match, and style before any purchase is made.

Retail & Hair Care Products

  • Exchanges or refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for unopened and unused items only.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • Opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please take your time during your appointment and ask as many questions as needed before purchasing.
