About the Founder

I'm a hairdresser, a mum, and passionate about helping women who suffer from hair loss. I've struggled with fine hair for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I always dreamt of becoming a hairdresser and even modeled in hair shows. However, as I got older, I noticed my hair thinning more, and people would often comment on it, saying things like, "You're using too much dye, it's breaking off," or "I can see your scalp." I became skilled at covering up the thin patches, relying on my curly hair to make it appear thicker than it was. Or so I thought.

During my first pregnancy, I experienced a traumatic birth and had to undergo a cesarean section. Afterward, I noticed significant hair loss that never fully grew back. Despite being in the hairdressing industry for a while and considering extensions, I knew they wouldn't work for the thinning areas, especially in the front. Later, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), a hormonal condition that can cause hair loss. Unsure of what to do, I met Amy, a hairdresser who also struggled with hair loss. And she introduced me to Hair Toppers.

Initially skeptical, I tried on a hair topper . I was amazed. I finally felt confident again. As a hairdresser, there's pressure to have great hair, and the topper made me feel authentic once more.

The first test was my partner, who didn't even notice it wasn't my real hair until I showed him. Encouraged, I wore it to a family BBQ, expecting honest feedback. Surprisingly, nobody seemed to notice, except my sister-in-law, who complimented my hair without realizing it was a topper.

After a week of wearing it, I was hooked. People were complimenting me left and right, and it felt incredible. I wanted to share my story with others suffering from thinning hair, to let them know there's hope.
